  1. I was hoping someone could suggest some good authoring software for me that I may be unaware of.

I have a number of short films I have made, and am trying to create a VCD for them. I have made numerous VCD's in the past, but now I would like to include menus, submenus, and audio (as background music over the menus).

The only software I have found that can do everything I would like to do is PHillips VideoCD Toolkit, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to burn these files properly. I have a copy of Gear (as I can't get a copy of WinOnCD in the states), but I have not been able to burn a working CD with the PHillips project files yet.

Regardless, the process seems a bit too cumbersome to be worthwhile.

SO.. is there anyother software available that will give me the flexibility that you have in DVD authoring.

I need to make Submenus, background music, etc.

    thanks,

    -Luis

  4. I looked into Ulead's software, and it looks like the menus are all from templates. I need software that will allow for custom designed menus.

    Can TSCV do this?
Is there any other software out there that allows for custom menus? (not from templates).

    thanks.

  5. of course TSCV can do it easely.
Just go in "MenuGenerator" in TSCV.

  6. TSCV can do everything you want. You just need to sit down and take some time with it. I've built many SVCD's with the following items...

Intro - A nice THX trailer
    Main Menu with sound
    Sub Menus with sound
Main Movie(ability to move within movie and go back to menu)
Extro - Whatever you may want
