  1. i'm using vobsub/virtual dub to add subtitles....

when i'm using vobsub to index the vobs through the .ifo file, virtual dub gives me an error when it has almost finished indexing the subs. the error is "cannot read, either locked dvd or missing/truncated files." i know that the vobs are complete and decrypted because i was able to encode them normally without using virtual dub at all...just through tempgenc. any help would be great..

  2. heh...for those of you who do use the vobsub/virtual dub method to add subtitles..i figured out the prob..and also was helped by the creater of the vobsub filter...

anywayz, it looks like smartripper doesn't copy the vobs directly...it usually cuts something out...so if when u're ready to index the .ifo file....there's a menu right b4 u r about to index...click on the wide button in the middle rather than the "ok" button on the bottom...
