Rip HDDVD then burn it on BD-RE: possible?

In other words the question is if is possible to "transcode" the ripped HDDVD movie content only
into a format that is writable into a standard blu ray file "structure".

Maybe possible but you won't find any all-in-one tool that does it for you. I would check http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=39

At the moment i've followed the 2nd part of the guide to split into 2 25gb discs a 50gb movie.
I've found that the method suggested for TSREMUX works better using its "timing indicator trimmer"
for end and begininnig, than the HDBDSplitGUI program that delivers an unusable 2nd part of theoriginal .m2ts file.
