    I have tried some free trial version tools to convert the video file format but none of them gave me the option to convert AVI to MPEG. Is there any other way to convert AVI? I searched but didn't find what I needed. So I am seeking your help. Thanks!

    If you want mpeg1 I would use the free tmpgenc.

    Also look in the HOW TO : Convert section. Then just fill in the "Format Conversion:" section with your desired format (example: mpg to avi) and hit the "Search or List Guides" button. You will then have a list of guides and their associated tools.
