Does anyone know of a fast way of converting from Divx 5.1 to WMV?
My source files are 640x480 at 23.997 and 29.997 fps.
I'm trying to get 320x240 WMV files, suitable for Zune.
I'm currently using Pinnacle Studio 10, but it's taking 10 hours to convert 50 minutes of video.
For some reason I can't get Video Vegas to recognize Divx video.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

WMVMuxer takes 6 hours to produce a 100-minute long
640x360 clip on my 6-year~old Pentium IV. Definitely there is
something wrong with your Pinnacle Studio (or with your OS,
who knows).

Nothing encodes to WMV lightning fast, but your encode times are terrible. I'd try WME as Mats suggests. It's free if you have a valid copy of XP. Note that you could always leave your PC powered on overnight to do stuff like this. I don't know why so many people seem unwilling to let their PCs do work for them while they sleep.

Microsoft Expression Encoder is another alternative. Trial available from MS.

Thanks for the replies.
I tried WME, but it crashes when I try to feed it a Divx file.
I'll try WMM tonight.
By the way, I have a Intel Duo Core 1.67 CPU with 1.25 Gb of ram, so this shouldn't be taking 10 hours.
Pinnacle Studio 9 handled Divx to WMV conversions pretty well, however, it doesn't recognize video in non-standard frame rates (e.g. anything other than 29.97).
