TMPGEnc Resetting and freesing!

Hi

Im trying to convert some avi's and this program is working, sometimes!

I am following the tutorials on this site but

TMPGEnc 9 out of 10 times doesnt work!
I dont know if its luck or what but whatever it is its bad! :cry:

Ok what is happeneing is that TMPGEnc either freezez or re boots my PC!

Anyone else had this problem?

On one avi it keeps freezing at the same point.
On another it re boots at different points!

Can anyone help me?

I sometimes have the same problem. It seems that it has to do with the audio encoder. If I use TMPGenc without audio it doesn't freeze or reboot my pc. Try using an external audio encoder or encode the audio with another program and then Multiplex the video and audio.
