  1. Ok if anyone can help meunderstand this it would be great. I can grasp what to do with ffmpeg I downloaded ffmpeg and in a folder i have 3 files
    ffmpeg play ap
    ffmpeg ap
    pthreadgc2 dll

    I am trying to do this its the 8th post on first page

    How do i use this command
    ffmpeg -i input.evo -vn -acodec ac3 -ab 448k output.ac3
    to convert audio?

    also do i replace the i input.evo with the file name i want to convert

    yes.

    it's a commandline tool.
    put the ffmpeg files (from the build linked to in the guide because it wont work with
    other ffmpeg builds) in the same folder as your .evo file,
    open the command shell in windows. click 'start' -> 'run' -> type: 'cmd'
    navigate to your working folder and run the commands.

  3. thanks ive been using the gui for it but i cant seem to get it to work. I did however recode the video portion of my hd-dvd using evodemux and tmpg express 4 its just the audio im having trouble with

    what gui?

    Winff would be ok.
    but you'd still have the source properties step to do, to get the mapping.

    Avanti would be better,
    but the new version isn't up yet,
    and the old is down.

    working off the command shell is simple enough
