Just a heads-up for those who don't know about this great gadget. For a while now i've been wanting a VGA-to-tv converter to output my laptop's video onto a Tv. I decided to buy this:

Great stuff! Not only is it *A LOT* less expensive than many units out there, it is also compact. About the size of a remote control, and its powered through a USB port, resulting in very little clutter around your comp.

It was easy as hell to set-up, literally plug & play with no software, and the output quality is pretty nice. Videos and games come in almost crystal clear.

There is no reason to bother with other significantly more expensive converters out there. This thing takes care of business

On a side note, i can use my TV as a monitor decently with this. Its nowhere near as pretty as my laptop screen but it works, and reading text is ok as long as i increase it a bit above normal in firefox.

This is great because i'm able to look up/switch to other videos & games without having to go and flip open my laptop screen each time.

Keep in mind my comp resolution is 800x600, so that probably helps(what? 8x6 is a GOOD resolution! )
