I used to make vcds until I got a player that plays vcds/svcds/xvcds, etc..(mustek) and make short snippets 480480 with the nero 'infinite hold' feature, so it awaits my command to go forward on my standalone. Nice....however, I decided to up my bitrates and re-render some older vcds and use 'inifinite hold' in the file properties just before the burn.
My previous vcds hold on last frame. The new ones I am making no longer hold the last frame. The TV goes black, and that's what it holds. My previous vcds held the last frame. Yes, I am choosing 'disc at once' feature. I also tried different encoders, ie TMPGENC and Premiere plug-in LSX-MPEG, which is the way I used to do it to see if TMPGENC was doing something funky to the file. I cannot remember doing anything different the first time I made them, I have not gotten another burner, still playing them in the same standalone that the first versions work on, etc...any suggestions?
Thanks
PS Nero's FAQ sucks.

ok, if no one has any idea, then how about your command sequence if any of you have done infinite hold with nero, i.e.
1-video cd
2-drag files over
3-right click file-properties-pause=infinite
4-disc at one
5-write
thanks
