When Downloading images/pictures/photos from The Net

Hi.

I'm trying to download some images for a project, i have been using Firefox DownThemAll programme
trouble is it only downloads the images in small size, and Firefox Video DownloadHelper will not work on site.

In English, If i click on these images they open to a bigger size, and using the Save Image As, takes to long
is there another programme i can use, that will download the bigger image?

There are a ton of programs that will do what you want.
Picsplorer is the only one that comes to mind right now though....

The Batch Download extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3104) has worked decently for me, for downloading all the images from a page. I think it can also do a few things with gallery image links, too.

The bigger image takes longer because it is bigger.

Any other programs you use might help in recovering from errors, but are unlikely to speed the download.
