    Im looking to get my mom a dvd/vcr combo with a dvd recorder. She wants it to watch mainly dvds and record old vhs tapes onto dvds, any suggestions?     Please let me know what yall think or any suggestions.

    If those are commercial VHS tapes she won't be able to use it for that purpose.
