  1. I have two kids and a Panasonic PV-GS39 video camera. I had nine tapes filled up and was getting tired of buying new ones. I wanted to clear the tapes and still have the opportunity to edit the video on my PC at a later date. I purchased the Magnavox MWR10D6 and started making DVDs.

Is there a way I can rip these DVD's onto my PC and edit them with Adobe Premier?

Why are you doing things "backwards"..???
Why not just capture to computer, edit, then make dvd's????
I don't understand why you would "burn" a dvd from raw tape and then try to edit later...
You will loose quality somewhere there..
If your in a big hurry to get a dvd , just get a hard=drive cam with a "share-station"....slam, bam it's done....
