  7. Works for me too. Oddly enough I just upgraded two days ago from a K62-400 to a TBird 1.2GHz and I can't get my soundcard to work, so I'm FORCED to encode it as a VCD to watch it

  8. SPOILLER Well some what.

WARNING. The sites somewhat talked about do have what the first eps is about!

If you are hooked on the music its from the first Album from the group "The Calling". Track is "Where Ever You Will Go".

Some of the ST sites have the clips, Ch 13LA interviews, even ET interview from the 7/10. The Offical site has shots of engeering. Note most of the downloads are in Divx format.

  11. I am trying to convert this ASF to VCD or SVCD and TMPEGenc 12f and 12h both are chocking on the audio after 0:30 - the file starts encoding very SLOOOOWWWWLY then completes. When you play it the audio blanks at that 30 sec mark. Did they special encode this asf with 2 audio codecs or some other anticopy hack?

  12. Good news for all...
I managed to "save as target" by right clicking the link and i downloaded the file!

Kitty- I used TMPGEnc beta12d - it came up with "illegal bitrate" then I tried beta12a - no problems at all.

  13. Ember - thank you! Yes tmpenc 12f, h, and now d does not work. 12a worked fine!

What are the differences? I have heard 12a has certain advantages but not heard specifics. . .
