Well awhile back I had my VirtualDub and VirtualDub Mod set up as well as ConvertXtoDVD and AVISynth But I lost it all...
Anyways....I took AVIs I had and used ConvertXtoDVD to make them into a Video_TS File and then I Burned it to a Taiyo Yudan 8x DVD-R with IMGBurn...Burning at 4x....
I put it in my PS2 and the Video is Jerky when I start it every few seconds it pauses and plays...Pauses and Plays...
How do I make it so it runs smooth?? I have had this happen in the past but now the steps I use is this...
Take Avi File..Run it Through FitCD...Put the Script into ConvertXtoDVD...Make Video_TS and Burn it with IMGBurn but it didn't work...
Any Ideas how I could get my Video to work and not be jerky when I play it back through my Playstation 2???
Here is a G-Spot Picture of the Videos I am using...

It's a PAL video. I am assuming you have converted it to NTSC to make it work on your PS2, and this will make it jerky.
FAVC might do a better job because it uses the Pulldown method for conversion.
It is also difficult, from your description, to determine if this is in fact poor conversion, or a media problem. If the movie is actually stopping and starting, I would suspect media. The PS2 is a very average player, and very intolerant of a lot of media. If the jeriness is just jerkiness in the image during pans and zooms, then it is a conversion problem, and I would suggest FAVC as a possible answer.Read my blog here.

I know it's not Media it has to be Conversion
Could you give me a quick Step by Step on how to use FAVC
Also is there a way to chANGe the Video_TS File from PAL to NTSC or must I convert to NTSC with FAVC and then put it through ConvertXtoDVD Again?
Also What is the Best setup for FAVC?? I have a Dual Core Processor....I want the best quality possible....
Also Do you use QueEnc or HC Encoder?? -
FAVC is very straight forward. Just add the video, select the format, select HCEnc, use Predictive Quantization and 2 CPUs and let it go. It is a slower than ConvertXtoDVD because it uses a better quality encoder. Hopefully we will get a new version soon that uses the newer release of HCEnc, which is multi-threaded and will allow better utilisation of dual and quad core machines.
FAVC creates a compliant, ready to burn Video_TS folder. I suggest using Imgburn to burn this to a disc.
Without wanting to be insulting, FAVC is about as simple as it gets, and if you really need a guide to use it, then digital video is well beyond you. If you can use ConvertXtoDVD, you can use FAVCRead my blog here.

Here is a thread you might want to read:
https://forum.videohelp.com/topic316333.html
This starts off as "one thing" but then turns into my thread of "mini-guides" on how to do various AVI to MPEG-2 DVD spec encoding ... including how to do PAL AVI to NTSC DVD.
My method is a bit more "manual" than using FAVC but even if you only end up using FAVC I still say reading the thread I indicated will give you some good information.
As for a detailed FAVC guide or "mini-guide" ... I never really looked at it that closely so I cannot help there.
