I know this isn't the main focus of this site, but I'm having a hard time finding help.
I encoded a video to H264 quicktime using MPEG Streamclip. I check the fast start button. However, when embeded in a webpage, it does not fast start, it waits for the whole video to be loaded before playing. Anyone have any idea why?

Thanks,

What version of mpeg streamclip? win or mac version?
 Or maybe use quicktime pro.

The h264 trailer looks very good but yes it would be better with fast start.

I don't recall the specifics, but I think you have to patch the mov/mp4 file with the index moved to the front. That'll allow playing before the entire file is downloaded. How and with what are the open questions.
