    Hello, I've tried installing ffmpegx on my macpro running os 10.4 and when I do, I get an error message saying:
    "The application ffmpegX quit unexpectedly" I've tried running several times but each time I get the same error message.
    Is there something I need to do to prior installing and running the program so that i won't continue to get the error message.
    I am getting frustrated . Thanks in advance for your help.

    try booting off the OSX Install DVD and run DiskUtility
    and repair permissions on the main boot HD.
