    I'm using RIVA FLV Converter to convert files, but some of the videos won't convert. When I check my video files, I see that I have an FLV file and, in addition to that, an ENC file. This seems to be the problem, as the videos that don't have this ENC file convert just fine.

    if it's not too much trouble, could someone please explain what an ENC file is, and how I can convert my FLV file?

    just use avidemux. Riva does not convert flv4 files.

    I just tried that program, and the files won't even load. is there a guide or is it self explanatory?

    Look in the HOW TO : Convert section. There are guides and different tools depending on your final format.
