hi guys i have a zenith xbr716 dvd recorder/vcr combo
anyway it works when i put input on the tv but i cannot record off tv that way.
I am using a dvr box from comcast
how do i do this? i wanted to record tin man tonight.

If your recorder can tune the channels from your cable provider, then you just choose the channel and record.
If your recorder can't tune the cable channels, then you will need to connect the video output of your cable box to the input of your recorder. Then you set the cable box to the desired channel, choose line-in on the recorder, and record.
Of course, since you have a DVR already, you could record it on the DVR and transfer it later. The transfer process will be the same as outlined above.Google is your Friend -
Which means what? How is it connected? What exactly are you trying to record? Some shows/channels (HBO, Showtime, Pay-Per-View) can't be recorded from some providers.
