  1. I am trying to burn entire dvd disc. How is Nero set up? Currently, it says I do not have enough room on my C drive, which has about 3.7 gigs left. The dvd-r needs about 4.4 gigs. I went to FILE--> PREFERENCES---> CACHE and the destination is set to my C drive.

Also "Minimum disk space reserved" is 16 MB....what does this mean?

I never knew that when you burn dvd to dvd, you still need "space" on your hard drive?

With the assumption that the DVD that you want to burn from does not have copyright protection (i.e., no illegal stuff), here's my answer:

Nero can copy disc to disc, without using the hard drive.

Open Nero Start Smart, select the DVD (not CD) icon at the top right corner. Hi-lite the Copy and Back Up icon (the icon with the 2-disc image), then choose Copy Disc.

Next, choose "Quick Copy" (check mark), your source disc, your destination, the proper writing speed for your disc and the number of copies you want to make.

Click "burn". Sit back and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee while Nero does its job.

Saving to HD first usually produces less write errors, also using disc to disc(Quick Copy) assumes you have two DVD writers on different IDE channels*.

    *SATA drives are not affected.
