So i created an AVI file with CamStudio to record what i do on my screen. (I dont know if that is a good program i just found it on google, any other sugestions of good programs to that would be nice). Anyway so i have an AVI file and i have tried to convert it to .flv many times with all the freeware programs out there like SUPER and Rivera or whatever i finaly gave up. I just installed Flash CS3 which comes with a video encoder program. So i used that which was painfully slow, it took 1 hour just to enconde an 11 miniute video =/. Anyway it still does not work in my flash player that i have downloaded.
Here is the movie https://liberment.homeserver.com/chris/Media/Server_Tutorial.flv
and here is the swf for the player https://liberment.homeserver.com/chris/mediaplayer.swf
any sugestions???

the free version of riva's flv encoder works just fine, give it a shot.

Conversion times are cpu dependant. The faster your cpu, the faster the conversion time.
Possibly there is an issue with your source (avi) file. You can post a screenshot here and we can take a look at it. Does the avi file playback normally?
You may also want to take a look at your flash player.
On a side note, you mention conversion to flv, but your link above is swf.Google is your Friend
