Received Pioneer DVR-450h-s as a gift. It works great. I was just wondering if it was possible to add a DV input port to transfer camcorder movies. If yes, can you let me know how?
Thx

If it doesn't have a 1394A port, you can't add one as the internal parts that make it work would be missing, along with the firmware to use it.

To clarify, when you mean the internal parts, are you referring to the actual interfaces or the board conections? If it's the interfaces, they are readily available. However, if they can't connect to anything, I guess there is no hope!!!
Thanks again... -
I don't know it for a fact, but I suspect the integrated circuits and associated electronic parts that would be needed for that type of conversion wouldn't have been installed on the circuit board.
