I have a few minor scratches on my car and I would like to know if anyone has heard of Simoniz Fix It and whether or not it really works. Here is a link to their infomercial site: http://www.buyfixit.com/ By the way, websites know the sites where their links are clicked on at, therefore, if a new member to the forum who doesn't have any other posts, comes to this thread and posts about how great this product is, I will take what they say with a very big grain of salt.

Depends upon how deep the scratch is. Looks like all that does is try to buff it out. May work for some scraches, but for some cars and or car colors, I'd be tempted to try the colored wax (fill in) method instead.

Been there, tried that, crap don't work. The end.
The key mark from that bitch I briefly dated is still firmly etched into my car.

  4. Products like that work if they are "minor" scratches. If the scratch is deep enough, they wont help at all.

Keying scratches, like Lordsmurfs post, is a perfect example of scratches that wont be fixed easily.

I tried it on little nicks and dings. Didn't work there either.

  6. Shitty luck for you then. Worked pretty well for me.

Although, I would say I prefer McGuire's (spelling?) products a bit more.
