    I have a dvd that has a slideshow (pics with music) .. I would like to rip the pics only. Is this possible? the dvd is in Audio and VIDEO TS format with Vobs etc.. in it.

    you can take screenshots with most software dvd players if that's what you want. if you want the movie with no sound use dvdshrink and deselect all the audio tracks.
