Hi, I have been authoring and encoding now for a few weeks and have produced 2 high quality SVCDs using TMPEng Encoder and using Nero to Burn in SVCD format. Initially for the first movie I got the illegal floating decimal point error but have corrected that by using VirtualDub to seperate audio from video and then putting them together for encoding on TMPeng. Problem is tonight I took which looked like an SVCD quality (DVD Rip) of an .avi and encoded it like I usually do and Nero is saying its a non compliant and needs to be reencoded, and I said burn anyway ignoring the compliance issue and like I said got me a movie on the left side of the screen. What am I doing wrong??? I wish I could cut and paste the error message from Nero but I cannot. It said that the movie is Mpeg 1 when I know I encoded it as mpeg2. Before I run this through again for the third time and kill another 5 hours what am I doing wrong?
