It depends what is actually is. A DVD is simply an optical data storage product. It is how the data is stored that defines what is it is and how it can be used. If yours is DVD Video then it should be possible to play it on stand alone player. However if it is a player program and non-DVD compliant video you will first have to convert the video to a DVD compliant state, then author it for DVD video playback.
Without knowing what you actually have, it is impossible to give you specific advice on what to do with itRead my blog here.

That didn't answer much. See any video realted files on it, like mpg, avi or the like?

The MOV files can possibly be converted for standalone playback - the rest can't. AKAICS, what you have is a PC application, not a video disk of any kind (even if it contains video).

The director application is probably little more than a projector and way of navigating through the videos. If you sat down with a pen and paper you could probably plan out a DVD menu structure to replicate the director portion of the disc. After that it is a matter of converting the video to DVD compliant mpeg-2, and creating the menu system.
Something to be aware of - there is a good chance the resolution of the videos will be higher than that of DVD. I have several AVC based MOV tutorials that use screen resolutions over 1100 pixels wide. While this looks great on a PC, there is substantial loss of detail when downsizing them to DVD resolution.
So whle it is possible, with some work on your part, to turn this into a DVD, you may not findthe outcome as useful as you had hoped.Read my blog here.
