  1. I could find any got topic for this so i try to explain instead

How shall i do if i wanna create a video-file out of a audio file, with just a black picture with sound
guess the sourche question involves just how to create a video file, choose it's extension, and then last add the audio-file to it.
I tryed on my own with extremley skill to fool the Mp3 by just rename the extension to AVI ..it worked as far as the eye could see atleast, but the editing programs didnt agree

  2. Use Windows Movie Maker and put your mp3 on the audio track. Leave the video empty and create the movie. You only have the choice of DV AVI or WMV, though. For the DV AVI option, the audio will be similar to PCM (i.e., wav).

Alternatively, find a tool that can convert mp3 to wav and then import that into your editor.

I'm sure there are better ways, but using VirtualDub or VD Mod, I just take a existing video of the right type and length (Or trim it) and use the grayscale filter to lose the color if it's there, then set the brightness/contrast filters at zero, disable the existing audio and save it out with the new audio file added. That way the sync, codec and indexing is set properly.

In TMPGEnc Plus, choose a picture file for video source,
your .mp3 for audio source, adjust the other settings,
    click "Start". ^_^
