Burning using Nero

I am having no luck playing my SVCD after burning using Nero. The MPG files work fine when I play them on the hard disk. I've used the Compaq DVD player and WinDVD software players. I have also followed the procedure for making the SVCD from the http://www.dvdripguides.com site. Is there any way I can resolve this problem?

You said that you had no success in playing your burnt SVCD disks. Have you tried them on your standalone DVD Player? Is your player compatible for the media type you are using? (Checkout the DVD Players compatibility list). If you're testing the disk on your pc, make sure you have the software (mpeg2/DVD Software player) installed.
