Streamline DVD to web video/audio workflow?

Does anyone have any tips to streamline a DVD to web video/audio workflow?

    Here's my current steps...

    1. Use Handbrake 0.9.1 (on Intel Mac) to resize, crop DVD video and output file as MP4
(*** Note: I'm getting audio drop issues in Handbrake)
    2. Edit MP4 file in Quicktime to capture the portion I want and save as MOV
    3. Use VisualHub to set bitrate, and increase volume 300% and save as WMV
    4. Upload to website
(then I have to do more for the audio)

It doesn't sound like much, but it's tedious to wait for each step. Here's possible solutions I'm looking for:

    - One program to do it all in
    - Possible Automator Scripts to help me out
    - A web based solution
    - or something else...

    Any ideas?

Try Using Cinematize to narrow the extraction window on the DVD side, then use the resulting file in VisualHub or ffmpeg to encode to mp4 or wmv. At least that way you don't encode the ENTIRE dvd in handbrake and then do the selection.

I guess another alternative would would be to use MPEG StreamClip to do the same thing, it will batch load multiple VOBs from the unencrypted DVD source and let you set in and out points and save out to various formats.

    Hope that helps.
