I have a music video file in the vob format. I always use autoGk or divx converter and always get great results. Recently however I obtained a vob music video which is very weird , when I try to convert it. These are the video's characteristics:

    Code:
    Type: VOB program stream

    Duration: 0:04:20
    Data Size: 226.84 MB
    Bit Rate: 7.31 Mbps

    Video Tracks:
    224 MPEG-2, 720 × 480, 4:3, 23.976 fps, 7.00 Mbps, lower field first

    Audio Tracks:
    128 AC3 2/0, 48 kHz, 192 kbps

    DVDtoAVI:
    Frame Rate: NTSC 29.976
    Video Type: FILM
    PROGRESSIVE
When I try to convert the file from vob to xvid using autoGk or divx converter, the result comes out not deinterlaced. In other words the programs wont deinterlace the file. The original vob file has many progresive frames but aldo many interlaced ones, even using the ivtc option it comes out the same...
Can someone help m eout here

    ps.
the big issue is trying to deinterlace the video and keeping the 23.976 frame rate from the vob file in the xvid video.[/code][/quote]

I believe there should be one or two options for deinterlacing in AutoGK's 'hidden' options menu (Ctrl-F9). I don't have it available on the system I'm using to reply at the moment, so I can't say exactly which options you'd need.
