Hello Everyone -
I need to capture 10 or 15 short clips from a DVD disc a client has sent me. What is the best way to acomplish this? I'd like to play the dvd on my computer and grab the clips i need...
Thanks in advance,
Sean

Use a mpeg/dvd video editor like videoredo and open the dvd/vob and cut out what you want. You can also use the free dvd shrink to cut out a clip, see the first step in https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=198813 .

I would advise first ripping the DVD to your hard drive with something like DVDFabDecrypter or (if you can find it) DVD Decrypter. Then use VideoReDo to cut out what you want. VideoReDo allows you to "try before you buy" so it's not necessary to buy it to do this, but it will expire in something like 30 days if you don't purchase it.

With regard to VideoRedo, it will onlyoutput about 15 minutes of video as is (upon download).
You need to register for a free trial license key to get full functionality.
Which expires after 30 days, if you don't purchase a full license key.Whatever doesn't kill me, merely ticks me off. (Never again a Sony consumer.)
