  1. Hello all, have a problem with my camcorder.

    I have a Sanyo xacti HD700, MPEG-4.

Have got a problem with Directly importing from Camcorder, into certain programs, like PhotoPlus 6, Cyberlink Powerdirector 6, which i have just purchased Cyberlink 6.

I know i can by placing the card into my card reader get it that way, is there a way to get these programs to recognise my Sanyo, they both recognise my Twain Printer???????

Also, can you recommend a really good if possible free video program, that will recognise my Sanyo, unless i have a problem with my computers recognistion of my Sanyo??

Windows media player, it does recognise the video file format. But, i have to choose All Files from the list, then it will import and show it.
Now, Question. If i Burn a Video straight to a Re-Writeable DVD through Windows Media Player, will it Play on My Televison through my New Samsung DVD player???

If not, what do i need, and how do i use them to produce a TV Watchable DVD.

I have Nero 6, Windows XP.

Not to clever with video/photo etc.

    Thanks, Gep

You bought a non-standard camcorder. Sanyo would tell you these are for people that just want a file, not edit it except maybe in the camcorder itself. They usually offer some path to a DVD with included or optional software.
This particular announcement says that Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 will handle the format.

I suggest you first ask your questions to Sanyo support and let us know what they say.
