Hi All,
I'd like to add some optional subtitles to an avi file. I say optional because i would like to be able to play the movie in my DVD/DIVX player and select if i want the subtitles to appear or not on the TV.
I know that this is possible because i've downloaded some avi with optional subs, but don't know how to do it on MAC.
I've tried with FFMPEGx but - as far as I understood - it only allows to do it if I create a VCD or DVD. to the contrary, I'd like to keep the avi (divx) as it is, just add a subtitles stream to it.
any ideas?
thanks,
p.

Just place subtitle file in same folder with your .avi...and burn disk...thats all..Make sure subtitle file has same name as .avi and that your DivX player supports it...there is lot various formats of subtitle files...
