    Hi guys, first of all hello from a new member.
    I'm looking for some help/info about the DVD Player that comes with Sony's DAVHDX466 Bravia Home Theatre. Does anybody know If I can use a hack process to unlock regions from any other Sony DVD since I can't find any info for that particular model. It's a receiver with a built in player (or a player with built in receiver ).

    Most Sony units cannot be hacked. Sony generally releases a unit as region free (such as the DVR-530) or they take the time to lock the firmware. The few that I have seen that were hackable, required special hardware.

    thank you for the reply Krispy Kritter, so basically I should pray to be region free, right?
    And what do you mean with special hardware? Palm, PocketPC etc?
