    Hello!

I captured a video using my VCR but the audio output was using one channel and I was capturing the audio using two channels (Left + Right). When I play the video on my computer, I hear the sound from one speaker instead of both. How can I get the audio to work from both speakers by adding the other channel using some software?

Open the file in Audacity. If it is a stereo file with only one channel with audio, copy this channel into the other and save. If it is a mono file, copy the content, add a new stereo track, paste it into both channels, and save the new track

Is there a faster way to do it other than Audacity? I tried opening the 2 hour long mpeg file and Audacity tells me it will take a long time to import the audio.

By the way, if there is a way in Pinnacle Studio 11 to duplicate the channel, I will love to use that since I am using it for my editing.

RTM. I don't use Pinnacle, so you will have to open your manual or search the help files.
