    i am try to convert VOB to AVI files...

    i am using RIPit4Me, and DVD Decrypter to get the vob files first...

    The vob files showed 1.9GB file size, for example 45mins video, ... and i can play those files fine...

    but....when i tried to convert to AVI format using winavi or...xilisoft.......the duration showed only 23seconds...not all 45mins......

    please help....

    Use better software. WinAVI and xilisoft are about as far down the barrel as you can go without actually falling through the bottom.

    Try AutoGK or AVI.net if you want Xvid/Divx based avi files as output.
