  1. I set-up a PC as a Home Theater movie device. I rent DVDs during the week as my leasure, and RIP them to hard drive for weekend veiwing without the friday hassles and weekend runaround trying to get get what I want. I partitioned a hard large hard drive into lots of small drives to store each movie in it's own root directory under it's own Video_ts directory. This way I can have the whole movie, with outtakes and supplimental information. OK all is well, EXCEPT !!
I'm using a Hollywood magic card with it's spiffy 5.1 digi output and frame overlay. It can easily be opened to belive that WHATEVER drive I select is a DVD drive. I now connect directly to the video card and would like to use WinDVD or PowerDVD as my player. I can of course select files or groups of files to play but I can't get either player to recognize the drives as DVDs. I haven't seen the appropriate tool to get this done yet. Anybody have any answers?

It sounds as if you are using PowerDVD 3 is this correct?

If so it will not work.
