As I am a novice to this area of computer software, yes I have tried to understand some of the language by reading Computer Shopper magazine each month and reading a very good magazine by the PC Explorer team, called The Ultimate DVD burning handbook.
I am a college lecturer and I record T.V programmes onto my Sony (model 970) DVD recorder which also has a 250GB hard drive.
First I put the T.V programme onto a DVD + RW disk, and then I place it into my computer to transfer it to the PSP.
Can someone tell me if there is one program which can convert the data from the DVD + RW disk to PSP and if that is not possible, a step by step guide to how it can be done?
Thanks

DVDFAB! not free but very good converter. CLick on it for guides or read my latest guide, https://www.videohelp.com/guides/dvd-to-ipod-psp-phone-with-permanent-subtitles-using-d...-4-id1046#1046
If you would like a free tool you can use PSP Video 9, PSPEnc or RipBot264 but they might not support dvds directly. You can then use VOB2MPG on the DVD and then add the mpg in those tools and convert to mp4 psp.
