    How do I capture video through a Pinnacle 700-USB without using Pinnacle Studio.xx. I want to keep Pinnacle Studio as far as possible from my computer!
    I tried some programs like iZE TV, Stoik Video Capture and AVI IO, but so far I had no luck.

    Have you tried VirtualVCR, HUFFYUV, VIRTUALDUB...

    What is the problem with using Pinnacle. While I'm not a big fan of Pinnacle, if it works for you and isn't buggy, it is a good program. If the capture portion works, use Pinnacle for just that portion, then use other progs for the rest.
