Just bought a 80gig ipod classic and through the forums here was able to put a bunch of video on it. I know the older ipods played video through av cables played through the headphone jack I was told that the newer ipods don't do that you need a new apple ipod dock & cables. I tried the old method and confirm it doesn't work does anyone have another way 2 do this or do I have to but the apple products(I don't believe there are any aftermarket docks for the newer ipods)

I've been searching different forums & no one yet has came up with any ideas. Anyone here have an idea

enutz,
Unfortunately you'll just have to be patient until some knock-off products hit the shelves. I remember when I bought my 60 gig a couple of years ago the pin-out for the AV jacks was different than normal too, it didn't take long to figure out another option. Apple makes great products but they always have some twist to using them that sucks the fun out of them! -
I've been checking out some of the "direct from China" sites like dealextreme.com and there's no knock offs yet to circumvent Apples restrictions.
