I know how to add a logo in virtuladub but I don't like to since it means encoding the show and losing quality.
I have tried will frameserving to tmpenc setting the video to uncompressed with the logo filter but that loses quality and adds to the total time compared to frameserving direct stream to tmpgenc
My logo is up for 5 seconds so I don't want a loss of quality through the entire ep just for it but I don't want to lose the logo.
So I need to know if I can have tmpgenc add it

in the end, what are you making? vcd or svcd or what? You COULD probably make 2 movies. One of 5 seconds with your logo and one with the rest of the movie. After you burnt that to vcd or svcd, the player will probably recognize it as one movie. Haven't actually tried this but it makes sense to me.
