    Can anyone hep me with the region free crack for the Targa dvd player.I have looked through a lot of sites and found a lot of conflicting info and a lot of dead links so im at a bit of a loss.

    Record a CD with the .ISO file posted below,
    put the disk into your standalone, and PRAY... ^.^;;

    Thanks midzuki,but when i put the CD in to the player the messagecheck disc is on the tv screen and error on the dvd display,any thoughts?

    Assuming the CD was burnt correctly (i.e., it contains
    a folder named RMTM0000 that contains a folder named
    SCARLET that contains a 4-byte long KPJC19_1.DVD),
    I can only conclude the firmware of your Targa DVD-player
    requires a newer hack (or worse, it cannot be hacked at all).

    just checking,i burned the cd as a data disc is this correct?
    i will check the firmware version.

    The firmware was updated before as per the targa site,do i burn the file that you gave me straight a cd.I saved it to my desktop then burned it using nero,was this right?

    If you chose the option "Burn Image" in Nero,
    then you did the right thing. But if you simply put the .iso
    file on the root directory of a data CD, then you did the wrong thing.
