DV: Sony DV handycam - interlaced
Firewire: ATEN (ieee 1394)
Capture software: Premiere 6 or/and Virtual dub.
Codec: MC or MS or Sony software codec
PAL System
No drop frames even at full resolution.
XP pro
My problem is: At fast movement, the captured video (AVIs) are jerky (flashing effect). Either played it with mediaplayer or PowerDVD 4.
The final encoded mpeg1/mpeg2 also look very jerky either with upper field first or lower field first. Off course upper field first are worse. Either if I retain Interlaced mode (for SVCD) or deinterlace it (VCD/SVCD) bob/smart/discard 1f/blend - you name it - all results are same: Jerky!
Please help.
