    Hi,
I am having trouble backing-up my Walk The Line DVD Disc 2...
I am using RipIt4Me and when it gets towards the end of the ripping process an error will pop up saying "Couldn't Read Sector 16 While Parsing File System."
When I click on "OK" another message pops up saying "RipIt4Me Has Detected That Some Of The Cells That Couldn't Be Ripped Do Not Seem To Be Protected,This Might Mean That Your DVD Is Dirty Or Scratched,It Is Recommended That You Carefully Clean Your Disc And Let RipIt4Me Re-Rip The Affected Files."
The Disc is new and has no visible scratches on it,but I went ahead and cleaned it and used scratch remover on it and let RipIt4Me Re-Rip it but this still did not help.
I have even tried using AnyDVD with Nero 6.6.1.4 and with CloneDVD and neither would work as well.

Is there anything else I can try?
Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated
    Thank You
    LCE

The disc may have a manufacturing fault. Rip with DVDFabDecrypter and set the option to ignore read errors.

    Hi Richard_G,
I downloaded and tried DVDFab HD Decrypter and it work great(Well,it atleast ripped the disc to my HDD)I tried it with the ignore read errors checked and unchecked and it seemed to work both ways. I havent burnt it yet to see if it comes out with any errors,I hope it doesnt.
Why would the ripping process work with this program and not the others?

You said to try ripping the disc with the Ignore read errors boxed checked, wouldn't that cause the ripped copy to come out with some type of problem?

    I Appreciate your help
    Thank You

A ripping program will try and copy each and every bit and will fail if it finds one it can't read. A DVD player almost expects to find the odd error and if it isn't too big will just ignore it and the disc will play perfectly.
