Hi everyone,

The reason for this topic is because I've been trying to pan and zoom pictures with a background behind it.

I have the desired background in the main video track, and then the picture in the next video track. When the picture sits still I can see the background behind it from the area that the picture doesn't cover the screen, but when I add the pan and zoom effect, the clear area turns black hiding the background.

I tried using the chroma key effect to remove the black area, and it surely works, but the quality of the image being zoomed degrades significantly.

When I zoom with the pan and zoom effect itself, the picture looks great but the black areas show, and when I add the chroma key effect, it eliminates the black area whil zooming, but the picture turns blurry.

Does anyone know of a workaround solution?
I use Pinnacle Studio, I tried their suggestions, but they don't work either.
For example they told me to add a green background layer to the picture, and then remove it with the chroma key tool, but the green isn't eliminated completely.

I've seen this specific effect done successfully before, but I don't know exactly how they did it.

In advance, Thanks for any info.
