  1. hello,

    i'm clueless when it comes to this...

    basically what i want to do is copy my 2 wedding dvds into one dual layer disc. is it possible? how do i go about in doing that?

    i have philips dvd+r dl and samsung se-s184. i'll be using my laptop in doing this b'coz my desktop is useless.

    It's not suggested. This is archival type material for long-time keeping. The second layer of DL media, for archival purposes, is suspect. I'd advise against it. Leave it as two wedding videos.

  3. thanks for the quick reply.

    i have 3 sets of dvds from my videographer. one went to my mom, one to her mom, and one for us. the reason why i want to make copies is to share to our friends... so no long term needed. i just don't want to give out our copy just in case something happens.

    I wouldn't do it, either. Dual layer burning is hit or miss. Sometimes the disc will play and sometimes it won't.

    You should be making copies for yourself, too, if you have only one disc left that will stay with you.
