  1. I have this problem playing an svcd.
When I insert the disc, it plays the svcd, but on half of my TV-screen.
So I get the two black bands, thatz normal, but now the movie is cut off by a big black one @ the right of my TV screen ....
    Wot could be the problem?

    Bitrate: 2240 avg 2-pass VBR
    Format: NTSC SVCD

My regioncode is 2, although it's a multiregional player, not?
(how can i make it multiregional btw? ...)

  3. Do you know the size you encoded the SVCD with? 480x480 is standard. I know that with my pioneer 343 I've played SVCDs at 480x480 and 352x480 with no problem. On the other hand, when I've tried changing the size of an xVCD I was making (352x480 instead of 352x240 standard) I ran into the half screen thing.

  4. thx 4 the link, great help!
    Problem is ....
The movie is in svcd format, so i used the .dat file to fix that 'half-screen' thing.
But ... another problem is that the .dat file is too big to write on a 80min cd :/
So...i can fix it by making a bin+cue file of that movie (thats is on my hd, and NOT on cd)...but i dunno how to make a good bin+cue file of several filez ...
I tried with cdrwin, but when i made the cue file (with bin2iso) i got this:

    FILE test.bin BINARY
    TRACK 01 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 00:03:69
    INDEX 01 00:04:18
    TRACK 03 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 00:08:35
    INDEX 01 00:08:69
    TRACK 04 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 00:08:70
    INDEX 01 00:09:25
    TRACK 05 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 78:23:57
    INDEX 01 78:24:26

While it should be like this :

    FILE "test.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    FLAGS DCP
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    FLAGS DCP
    INDEX 00 00:11:53
    INDEX 01 00:13:53

Anybody who knows how i can make a cue-file like the second one???
