I have versions 5 and 6. And for some reason when encoding avi files, when I set the audio compression to Mpeg Layer-3 the only options I get is 24000hz...

I have an older version (Version 3) that came with my capture card. I've been going back and forth uninstalling versions 6 and 3. Version 3 shows all the mpeg options up to 48000hz..What is the problem with the newer versions? any clues? Thanks....Adam

seems to be a limitation built into the software. i look at my version 6 and have only the same settings in avi and divx that you do.

I wonder why they would have limitations on the mpeg layer 3 settings?
