No that I know of, but curses should be directed at Microsoft.

If you are reading an wmv there is obviously no watermark, when you are exporting from any application that uses quicktime there is a watermark.

Visualhub does not give you the watermark when converting, but it does cost $23.32.

Flip4mac is a replacement for windows media which allowed you to play windows media files but not convert them. You would still need an external application to convert the files.

Flip4Mac will permit the export from QT -if- you pay them for their license -and- you pay Apple for the QT Pro license; the latter permits exporting from QT Player.

Obviously, there are cheaper ways (as noted in previous posts).

I highly reccomend flip4mac's WMV Studio.
We bought it at work, and it is
wonderful for exporting Quicktime content out to WMV.
    well worth the money.

Watch their website, occasionaly they lower the price
during Holiday times ( as most software vendors).

and why would you think that, Apple who has their own
properitary format in .mov, would make the default
properitary format .wmv, which is Micro$ofts?

Apple backs Quicktime, Firewire, and Blu-Ray DVD.
Microsoft backs Windows Media, USB, and HD-DVD.
just so you can get ready for when these other issues come up.
