I'm looking for a software that can edit dvd (remove unwanted sequence, extras, etc.) and don't need the movie to be encode after it.

Can DVD rebuilder can do this ?

So just throw me some names that allow edit w/ reencoding

Thks a lot in advance !

The full version of DVD Rebuilder can remove unwanted extras but VobBlanker is much more eficient at doing that.

It has less to do with the program used than with the size of the basic movie. If it is greater than 4.43GB then you will have to at least transcode if not re-encode.

BTW if we are talking about a commercial DVD, this should be in the DVD backup forum rather than video editing.

Are you talking about removing things like trailers and studio logos etc, or are you talking about actually editing out scenes (nudity, swearing, violence etc)

ntscuser : it's for a DVD that been already encoded has a DVD5 (4.37gb). But it still remains some extras and trailers. special features on dvd, ect ... that i would like to remove. As the quality has already been reduced, I dont want to do it again.

guns1inger : Yes, it's about removing things like trailers, extras and specials features on the DVD.

Thks a lot in advance guys !

    Then use VobBlanker.

To disable unused menu buttons you need PGCedit. The latter can also be used to skip extras without physically removing them but this may cause startup problems on some players.

Alternatively you could use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to strip everything except the main movie without having to re-encode.
