Hi!
After spending LOTS of time wrestling with my Pinnacle DV300 card (bought used) and not getting it to work (I have re-installed Win98SE about 15 times due to this!) I decided to buy a plain vanilla Firewire-card. Well, so far so good. My newly installed card works fine, but the captures are VERY big, as most of you know. Captures of 1hr in full DV-qual is about 12GB as most of you know. Does any of you know how to enable compression when capturing using plain vanilla Firewire, I don't want to decrese resolution etc, I want compression... Hins, suggestions or descriptions are all welcome.
TIA
Wintermute
